Take Control of Four Different Vessels
Boat Simulator is a 3D free-roaming game where you can travel across open water without worrying about finishing a race. Instead, the game lets you choose a vessel, start the engine, and explore at your own pace.
There are four vessels to try. The selection includes a yacht, cargo ship, fast boat, and submarine. Two different environments give you separate areas to explore.
Each vessel gives the same water world a different feeling. A quick boat moves through the sea differently from a large cargo ship, while the submarine lets you experience the area from beneath the surface.
Learn the Basic Boat Controls
The W, A, S, and D keys or arrow keys control movement. You can steer around the water and choose where you want to explore.
The camera can also be moved so you can see the vessel from different angles. Pressing C changes the camera view. V or the number keys can switch between vessels.
These controls let you change boats without needing to restart the entire experience.
Explore Instead of Racing
Boat Simulator does not force you along one narrow course. There is room to travel freely and look around the available environments.
You can cruise slowly and enjoy the scenery or choose a faster vessel and move across the water at greater speed. The game also lets you interact with some objects around the water.
The submarine changes the experience even more because travelling underwater gives you a different view from staying on the surface.
Try Every Vessel
A large part of Boat Simulator comes from switching between the available vehicles and seeing how each one handles.
The cargo ship feels much larger than the speed-focused boat. The yacht provides another surface vessel, while the submarine stands apart because it can travel below the water.
There is no complicated mission system to learn before you start. Boat Simulator focuses on steering, changing views, trying different vessels, and exploring two open water environments.
It works well for players who prefer relaxed vehicle games where they can choose their own direction instead of constantly chasing a finish line.
