Build an Army Before You Attack
War of Sticks is a strategy game where a stickman kingdom fights to free itself from the Red Empire. You do not control a single warrior. Instead, you manage an entire force by gathering resources, training troops, improving your defenses, and deciding when your army is strong enough to attack.
Every battle begins with an important problem. Soldiers cost resources, so you cannot create a huge army immediately. Miners need to gather gold and stone before your kingdom can grow.
Miners Keep the Army Running
Training miners early gives you a steady supply of resources. Gold helps pay for fighting units and upgrades. Stone can support the construction of defensive towers.
Spending everything on soldiers may leave your economy too weak. Waiting too long can also create trouble because the enemy continues preparing its own attack.
That balance gives War of Sticks most of its strategy. You need enough workers to support the kingdom without leaving the battlefield unprotected.
Choose the Right Fighters
Your army can include several unit types. Shielders provide protection at the front. Archers attack from farther away. Barbarians handle close fighting, while wizards bring magical attacks into battle.
A mixed group can handle more situations than an army made from one unit alone.
Units and buildings can also be upgraded. Improving the troops you use most often can make later battles easier, but upgrades also use resources that could have created more soldiers.
Know When to Push Forward
The main goal is to defeat the enemy force and destroy its position while keeping your own side safe. The game becomes a back-and-forth struggle between building and attacking.
Sending soldiers forward too early may waste valuable units. Keeping them at home forever gives the enemy room to become stronger.
War of Sticks rewards players who watch the battlefield and make decisions at the right time. Build income first, create a useful group of fighters, strengthen important units, and then push when your army has enough support.
The controls stay straightforward because most actions use buttons on the screen.
War of Sticks takes a simple stickman battle and adds enough resource management to make every victory depend on planning rather than fast clicking alone.
